During her time at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Los Angeles, Akanksha realized that while global skincare brands were developed with their local consumers in mind, Indian skin was often treated as an afterthought. That insight inspired her to build CITTA, a brand dedicated to creating thoughtfully formulated skincare for Indian skin and its unique concerns. Guided by her belief in transparency and concern-first skincare, she has made complete ingredient disclosure and efficacy-driven formulations the cornerstone of CITTA's philosophy.
